"Grazing cow"
This peaceful pastoral scene with the cow nonchalantly grazing away in the quiet morning light never fails to move me. I think it probably for two reasons - first of course is the beauty of the scene itself. Nothing dominates the landscape, and your eye wanders across naturally, until it settles upon that cow, and there you stay for awhile (or at least I do :)). The second reason is that this area is one of the few places in my country which hasen’t been absolutely bulldozed by mass tourism. While it is a popular tourist destination, the locals have a lot of say in how business is done in the area.
Some people frown upon the practice, but if it protects the land and the people who inhabit it, I am all for it!
