"Pine forests, mountain range"
The original idea for this photograph was to get a spectacular sunrise over the lower HImalayan mountain range. Of course, when I showed up at sunrise the next morning, the whole scene was cloaked in a glorious blanket of fog. Not to be outdone by the vagaries of mother nature, I myself had made a generous contribution towards my own discomfort, having forgotten my gloves in the hotel room. Fellow photographers will relate to the absolute thrill of handling an aluminium tripod when it’s close to zero degrees celsius.
I took an entire different photograph that what I had intended to - but as is often the case, I ended up liking the semi abstract nature of this one, almost like the ECGs of the planet overlaid with each other!
